#6 - Deadmau5

Canadian Joel Zimmerman is undoubtedly one of the hottest DJs out at the moment and is well deserving of headlining Ultra only a week from now on Saturday! His unique electro sounds have lit up the EDM world in the past couple years. I've seen him live three times and it seems like he just keeps getting better. Cannot wait for more productions to come from Deadmau5 and the mainstage is sure to be packed Saturday night at UMF 2010.

We're moving into single-digits, and next on the list is British trance DJ and producer Gareth Emery. He is well known for playing a diverse showcase of music both in his DJ sets and his podcast, and has often dismissed his categorization as a 'trance' DJ simply stating that he plays good records regardless of genre. You can see a bit of this variation come into effect in his productions as well. Some FIRE, just sayin...

#13 - Sasha

Reunited with his old partner John Digweed, Welsh superstar DJ Sasha (born Alexander Paul Coe) has had a busy tour schedule this year. He began his career playing acid house in the late 1980s, and became a central figure in the development and popularisation of electronic dance music. In 2007, he formed a record label with Renaissance Records called emFire, which will be the exclusive outlet for his new music. Unfortunately he won't be coming to Ultra or WMC this year but here's a couple cool mixes to jam to either way...

Sasha - Xpander (Remastered Version) - classic

Sasha - Wavy Gravy (Ronan S. Edit)

Sasha, Darren Emerson - Scorchio (Matt Harrison Remix)

Wasn't too impressed with most of his never releases that's why I decided to make this such a short post. Expect a big one tomorrow!
