First of all the blog in my opinion was a huge success and I'd like to thank everyone for following. It became a big part of my life for the past 100 days and I hope you all got everything you wanted out of it. With that said, I am going to take a small break from blogging but I might be doing something somewhat similar next year so check back in about 265 days. Matthias Paul, better known by his stage name Paul van Dyk (born December 16, 1971 in Eisenhüttenstadt, Germany) is a Grammy Award–nominated progressive trance and techno artist. The word artist is a perfect fit because this guy's music is truly admirable in an artistic sense. Surprisingly enough he will NOT be attending UMF this year, but he'll be a SPACE Friday and Saturday Night, playing alongside big names like Sander van Doorn, Pete Tong, Tocadisco, Wally Lopez vs Zoo Brazil, Cedric Gervais, Antoine Clamaran, Alex Gaudino, Moguai, and Avicii just to name a few. A worthy alternative for going to Ultra considering tickets are $60 and most likely even more costly for afterhours. Anyway, heres the music:

Canadian Joel Zimmerman is undoubtedly one of the hottest DJs out at the moment and is well deserving of headlining Ultra only a week from now on Saturday! His unique electro sounds have lit up the EDM world in the past couple years. I've seen him live three times and it seems like he just keeps getting better. Cannot wait for more productions to come from Deadmau5 and the mainstage is sure to be packed Saturday night at UMF 2010.

Markus Schulz is a German trance music DJ and producer currently living in Miami. He is best-known for his weekly radio show "Global DJ Broadcast" that airs on Digitally Imported radio. He is also the founder of the label Coldharbour Recordings. He has also released a couple singles and an album under the alias Dakota. The final page starting off with Dutch progressive trance and techno DJ Sander van Doorn (born Sander Ketelaars in Eindhoven, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands). He hosts an internet radio show every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month (1:30 pm - 3:00 pm US Eastern Time) on Digitally Imported called Identity. The show is made from 2 studio mixes and sometimes is live. He also holds residencies in top clubs around the world such as Judgement Sunday in Ibiza and at the Gallery in London.

Reunited with his old partner John Digweed, Welsh superstar DJ Sasha (born Alexander Paul Coe) has had a busy tour schedule this year. He began his career playing acid house in the late 1980s, and became a central figure in the development and popularisation of electronic dance music. In 2007, he formed a record label with Renaissance Records called emFire, which will be the exclusive outlet for his new music. Unfortunately he won't be coming to Ultra or WMC this year but here's a couple cool mixes to jam to either way...

John Digweed (born as Thomas John Digweed on 1 January 1967 in Hastings, England) is an English DJ and producer. He began DJing around age 13. His breakthrough came in 1993 when he got a gig at the Renaissance Club in Mansfield after fellow DJ Sasha heard his demo. Digweed is known for promoting the progressive house sound that became popular in Europe and North America in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He started the record label Bedrock Records to further promote the music he was playing at the time.
